“They were 1 hour late in picking us up. We waited out side the hotel by security as they are not allowed to come into the hotel. The tui guide at our hotel tried to put us off and get us to cancel. Said they were a really bad company. And we were putting our safety at risk going with these guys. When we got picked up. The guy couldn't appologise enough. The day was brilliant. Leave Hurghada for a three-hour Eastern Sahara safari by quad bike. After a short safety briefing and test ride, drive about 25 km each way across desert tracks, stop at a Bedouin village for tea and possible shisha, then return by transfer. The ride suits fit adults aged 16 and up.
“Our tour was to start at 8am but the driver never showed up. When I called they said that they had run out of space and that I could reschedule for 3pm which I accepted. After 3pm the driver picked us up in a cramped Land Cruiser with 8 bench seats in the back with no suspension or AC. The potholes were horrible for the 7 of us in the back and everyone was in discomfort. At the quad center we were given instruction in operating the vehicles. There is no roof in the center of the building so try to stay out of the sun and drink plenty of…”
